Board membership Announcement
Pioneer Farm Museum and Ohop Indian Village is soliciting nominations for Board Members. The Board of Directors is a volunteer position and members are selected from the membership ranks. You are invited to apply by telling us a little more about yourself! PFM & OIV members have often been educators, partner organization representatives (such as from the Nisqually Tribe), past employees, historians, and founding family members. Meetings are held between 4-6 times/year for approximately 3 hours. Board Members also occasionally volunteer for PF&OIV—lending their expertise and guidance to research, projects, and fundraising—or to support specific events such as our Founders’ Day Celebration. If you are interested in serving on the Board of Directors, please update your membership (a 2021 Membership makes you eligible) and submit an application letter of no more than one page describing your background, passion for the organization, and a few ways in which you envision being able to support and further the mission of Pioneer Farm Museum and Ohop Indian Village. Application letters should be emailed to merrimcb@gmail.com no later than August 25, 2020.
